I am excited to get the opportunity for fundraise for a second year for Help Us Adopt. I know there are a lot of good causes out there worthy of your time and money. Here is one where your money will truly help change lives.

It has always amazed me how difficult and costly it is to adopt a child when there are so many children in the U.S. and rest of the world who need loving families.

Help Us Adopt bridges the gap. The idea is simple: kids need homes and homes need kids (but parents may not be able to afford the steep costs associated with adoption). The organization awards significant grants to parents-to-be to defray costs of adoption without regard to any background criteria (e.g. religion, gender, ethnicity, race, marital status, sexual orientation).
